Description

JS Studio provides a complete development environment for designing web applications with a special focus on interactive JavaScript-based applications. You can group files of all types together using projects, which makes it easy to work with large applications that contain a lot of files.

One of JS Studio's strong points is the fact that practically anything in the application can be scripted using addons - which of course are written in JavaScript. Addons can add menu items, modify behaviour, change appearance of widgets, and do many other things. Addons are not limited to scripts either; they can contain themes or provide project templates.

JS Studio's editor is extremely customizable, allowing you to modify options for each supported language specifically. The editor currently offers syntax highlighting for JavaScript, Python, CSS, and HTML. Brace matching is currently only available for Python.
