Description

Stack Mobile is a mobile front-end to the Stack Exchange network of sites. It is designed specifically for mobile phone browsers, tablet browsers, and other non-PC browsers. Although originally designed to use a minimal stylesheet, Stack Mobile now uses jQuery Mobile to ensure compatibility with a wide range of browsers and devices and to ensure a consistent interface.

Using Stack Mobile you can browse site statistics, questions, answers, users, and tags. The pages are heavily inter-linked to make it easy to navigate the available information. Because the API currently provides read-only access, there may be times when you wish to view the equivalent (desktop) page on the site itself. Stack Mobile provides an icon in the upper-right corner that, when clicked, provides the option to jump directly to the appropriate page on the site itself.

Stack Mobile is open source and is released under the GPLv3 license. You can find the source code on GitHub. It is also possible to deploy Stack Mobile to the cloud using a Juju charm.
